About Me

I am passoinate about education and its impacts on our communities. I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with majors in Political Science and French, and a minor in Education! I have been specifically interested in the way we learn and how different aspects of school have an impact on teachers, students, and parents, as well as others throughout the community! 

I have lived in Saugeen Shores for about 10 years! I went to Saugeen Central for grades 7 and 8, then went to SDSS for highschool. As a young adult, I have recently been a student and experienced our School Board and Post-Secondary, and I also have a brother who is currently going through Grade 7 as well. This gives me the perspective to connect and understand with many different demographics and helps to see how different issues affect different memebers of our communities. 

Book Suggestion

A book I suggest to many people is Limitless Mind written by Jo Boaler! It helps to understnad how the mind learns and grows and that we are not limited in intelligence. I found it to be a great way to help build a growth mindset with different studies to support it!
